My name is James Brown. Awesome name right?!

I love branding (logo design) and I work on a variety of marketing projects including advertisements, brochures, packaging, illustrations, exhibits and websites as you can see in my portfolio. I help clients ranging from single person start-ups to global corporations with thousands of employees. Running my own business since 1999 helps me relate to your business challenges.

I was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska—which was a great place to grow up. My family still lives there and I visit when I can.

In 1988 I moved to Colorado to snowboard and get my college degree (in no particular order). I made the leap to start Outreach Media after working in the corporate world doing double-duty as a graphic designer and running a pre-press department. Now I focus my passion for graphic design, writing and marketing strategy to help my clients grow their businesses. The care and effort I put into each project has earned me a loyal following and new clients entirely through word-of-mouth. Feel free to download my resumé for more details.

I am also an enthusiastic entrepreneur—creating a variety of products including t-shirt designs, Christmas ornaments, snowmobile jacks, and terrain-park features.

My other main passion is kiteboarding—on snow in the winter and water in the summer. I have been fortunate to mix my work skills with this amazing sport by founding two magazines as well as developing advertisements, packaging & product design within the industry.
