I designed this shirt for Sun Sports in Gunnison, Colorado. Customers that came into their shop had been asking for shirts to commemorate the memorable rides they experienced in the Gunnison and Crested Butte area.
Case Study: Summit Assault logo and poster
Summit Assault was the first running race produced by founders Burke Eberly and Nick Bonner. They were referred to me because they seriously needed professional help with branding to compete with the hundreds of other events that occur each summer in Colorado. Below you can see the logo that they had created (Before) and the updated logo I designed (After). The logo was then applied to the poster and given to them in a variety of formats for use on the website and other marketing materials.
Happily the event was a huge success and they even had other resorts offering to host their events in the future!

Gates OTC Trade Show Booth
The previous post shows a lens cloth that was well received so Gates asked me to use a similar layout to create two large panes to adorn their OTC trade show booth. The mockup shown here and booth were constructed by Proctor Productions.
Early works by James Brown
I took possession of this collector edition dinner plate (original artwork ©1974) after many years of being prominently displayed in the kitchen of my boyhood home in Alaska. I love having the plate as a reminder of how far I’ve come. It was enlightening to learn that arms and legs are attached to a torso instead of directly to a head. Six fingers and 4 toes are minor errors that I have since remedied.
